Our approach
Visitors cannot upload sounds: every sound here is added by us. We only publish sounds that we created, that we have a licence for, or that are released under a licence allowing redistribution (such as CC0 or CC BY). We respect the rights of creators and act quickly on valid complaints.
How to report a sound
Use the Report button on any sound, or email info@vibepad.co.uk. Please include:
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- The work you believe is infringed, such as the film, song or recording.
- The link to the sound on our site, for example
vibepad.co.uk/sounds/#sound-id. - A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner, or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
- We aim to remove or disable access to the sound within 2 working days of a valid notice.
- We remove the sound from future downloads into the Vibepad app.
Counter-notices
If you believe a sound was removed by mistake, or that your use is lawful (for example parody, pastiche or quotation), email us with the sound link, the reason, and your contact details. We may restore the sound unless the complainant tells us they’ve started legal action.
Reporting other illegal content
To report content that’s illegal for reasons other than copyright, use the same address and describe where the content is and why it’s illegal.
